This is an antique sterling silver open faced pocket watch with a lever movement signed J. The dial is white enamel with all hands present although all 3 are a different colour. The back pops open with the button at the top of the crown and the inside of the case is hallmarked for London 1873 with maker's mark PC and IH? The inner base of the case is also hallmarked the same.
It has a nice movement cover. The movement is named J. Scott, London with serial number 54110 which matches the case number. I have just wound and it is ticking away happy, running well. I have not timed the watch remember it is ANTIQUE.Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition. There are normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs etc. There are some cracks in the enamel dial, mostly on the edge between 10 and 11 o'clock. 50mm in diameter or approx. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are. In the title or description it means. Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage.
