This case has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1899. Movement - the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed Koh-I-Noor, RP & S. The movement is in 95% mint condition.
Case - the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case is decorated with engine turning on the back with a vacant cartouche and a smooth plain finish on the sides.The case is in 90% mint condition - light marks around the edges. Dial - the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 99% mint condition. The watch has a bevelled mineral glass.
The watch comes in an English Silver Heart shaped desk watch stand. The leather case has a hinged strut on the back and a leather carrying handle. The front of the stand is decorated with applied English silver decorated with beautiful pierced work and flowers.
